Michael Bunting Obituary

Michael S. Bunting, 60, of Carmel, passed away December 23, 2018. He was born in Bethel, NC on June 19, 1958, son of the late Gussie and Melba (Legget) Bunting.

Michael was a 1976 graduate of Roanoke High School, Robersonville, NC. From 1987-2002, he worked as Restaurant Manager of Hardees in OK. He and Mary were married and decided to move to Carmel, IN. He then worked as Manager at O’Charleys Restaurant from 2002-2005. Michael then changed courses and went into landscaping where he worked for MBA Restorations until 2008. Due to health concerns, he retired in 2008.

A great personality was one attribute Michael possessed. He was a very loving man accepting everyone with an open heart.

Survivors include his daughters, Jean Bunting and Melissa Hoggard; sons, Michael Bunting II and Kyle Bunting; grandsons, Hudson Engle and Jaxon Bunting; sisters, Cathy (Bubba) Smith and Lisa Woodworth.
