Martha Goreham

Martha “Marty” Goreham, 74, of Carmel passed away January 15, 2020.  She was born in Gulf Port, MS on October 15, 1945, daughter of William and Florence (Crane) Hefelfinger.

Following high school, Marty attended nursing school for two years.  Through the years, Marty worked as cashier for Kroger, receptionist for The Salvation Army; however, her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a homemaker.

In her early years, Marty attended the Presbyterian church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She also served at a church elder.

In addition to her parents, Marty was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Goreham in 2017.

Survivors include her son, Keith Michael Goreham, his wife, Rachel Leigh Goreham; grandsons, Arthur William Goreham, Daniel Paul Goreham and Benjamin Michael Goreham.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 3 pm in Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 4850 E Main Street, Carmel, where the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions, in memory of Marty, be given to the Presbyterian Church USA, PO Box 643700, Pittsburg, PA  15264-3700.  Envelopes will be available at the service.
