Marsha Katherine (Cullinan) Schloemer

Marsha Kathrine Schloemer, 76 of Carmel, was born on January 20, 1943 in Passavant Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.  She was the daughter of Marshall W. and Katherine E. Lehmann Cullinan.

Marsha was a 1961 graduate of Regina Dominican High School.  She attended Lincoln College in 1961-1962.  Before retiring, Marsha worked for All State Insurance, and the Church of the Holy Comforter.

Most of Marsha’s adult life, she lived in Evanston, IL.  In 2015, she moved to Carmel, IN where she lived with Rob, Lori and the grandchildren.

Marsha loved people and enjoyed life. She always had big smile and found joy in all circumstances. Her Love and Faith in Christ were evident in the many trials as she never complained. Marsha was extremely generous, even though she had very little, she gave much.

The greatest joy in life for Marsha was her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved spending time with them, playing connect four, checkers and other games. Marsha also lived vicariously through her grandchildren and their many activities.  She was faithful in attending all their events, whenever possible, and loved to watch them play sports, act, sing and laugh. An interesting note about Marsha was she loved her diet coke, spice drops, egg fu young, and enjoyed playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her sister, Lynne Loral Krieman.

Survivors include her son, Robert Lee Schloemer, Jr and daughter-in-law, Lori Marie DiCosola Schloemer; grandchildren, Robbie Schloemer (age 18), Zac Schloemer (age 15) and Katie Jo Schloemer (age 14); nephew, Marshall Krieman and niece, Megan Krieman.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 4-6 pm at First Baptist Church, 1010 E. 126 th Street, Carmel.  The Celebration of Life service will begin at 6 pm.

In memory of Marsha, contributions may be made to Bussell Family Funerals, in care of Marsha Schloemer, to assist with final expenses. Envelopes will be available at the church.
