Maria B. Waddick

Maria Bernadette Waddick, 54, of Carmel, passed away peacefully, September 6, 2019.  She was born on July 2, 1965 in Indianapolis, daughter of the late William Anthony and Clara Maria Taylor Waddick.

In 1983, Maria graduated with high honors from Cathedral High School.   She then received her Bachelor of Arts degree from IUPUI where she majored in Spanish.  As an Administrative Assistant, Maria worked in her father’s law firm for several years.

Maria enjoyed living life; while in college, she was an exchange student in Costa Rica for a year, where she practiced her second language of Spanish.  Like her mother Clara, Maria loved animals and appreciated watching the different animal shows on television.  Near to her heart was the love Maria felt and expressed toward her nieces and nephews, spending as much time as possible with them.

Survivors include her four sisters; Julia (John) Boyd, Patricia Walker, Brenda (Dennis) Wilson and Linda Waddick (Matt Hendey); two nieces, Mandee (Richard) Canner and Zoe Wilson; four nephews, Cody Endres, Hunter Wilson, Ethan Wilson and Nash Walker.

A time of visitation will take place on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in Bussell Family Funerals, 1621 E. Greyhound Pass.  A Family Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.

Donations in memory of Maria, may be directed to the donor’s favorite charity.
