Lenore DeNamur Obituary
Lenore G. DeNamur, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 31, 1928, daughter of Sam and Gertrude Tye Sorensen.
Lenore loved all animals; however, her poodles, Skilos and Kukla and Shih-Tzu, Uncle Joe were her best friends and loved her unconditionally. Lenore has joined the love of her life and husband of many years, George Tavantzis
In addition to her parents, Lenore was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Sorensen and Robert Sorensen.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Joe) Minnis; sons, David (Chris) Kranz and Steven (Patty) Kranz; grandchildren, Samuel Kranz, Sara (Nate) Ent, Sydney (Patrick Nally) Minnis and Lenore (Alan Bishop) Minnis; great-grandchildren, Oliver Ent, Nora Ent and Emma Kranz.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Community North Hospice for the exceptional care given to Lenore during her last days.
