Donald R. Morrow, 95, of Carmel, passed away April 6, 2018. He was born in Westfield on September 1, 1922, son of Olin and Ann Mullin Morrow.
Don was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County. He was a 1940 graduate of Carmel High School. Don was a WW II veteran of the US Army Air Corps, having received the American and Asiatio-Pacific Theater Ribbons.
As a farmer his entire life, Don was known for his farm equipment being in pristine condition, always immaculate. In 1968, Mayor Richard Lugar presented Don with the “Outstanding Farmer” award. Don enjoyed wood working and creating special pieces in his workshop. He will always be remembered as being a good neighbor and friend.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Morrow Fleet.
Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Phyllis Lawrence Morrow; sons, David Morrow and Greg Morrow.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 10 at 11 am in Carmel Cemetery with military honors.
