Carole M. Hitchcock

Carole McMurray Hitchcock, 80 of Carmel, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2017.  She was born in Bellaire, OH on December 6, 1936, the daughter of Rev. Howard D. and Alice E.  Neeld McMurray.

Carole attended Girls High School in Philadelphia and was a 1958 graduate of Muskingum University in New Concord, OH where she received a BS Degree in Elementary Education.

Carole was committed to her Savior as well as being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Ann Myers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Raydon C. Hitchcock; son, David (Terri) Hitchcock; daughters, Lynda Hitchcock and Susan (Kevin) Kinnius; grandchildren, Stephen (Sabrina) Hitchcock, Thomas Hitchcock, Kaitlin (David) Neel, and Kara Kinnius; great grandson, Ryley Hitchcock.

Family and Friends will gather from 4-7 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Colonial Hills Baptist Church where Carole had been a longtime active member, and where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at 10:30 am.  Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.

In memory of Carole, contributions may be made to Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240.  Envelopes will be available at the service.
