Betty Jane Wettengel, 90, of Carmel, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. She was born August 7, 1928 in Point Pleasant, WV, daughter of Everett and Rose Hornbeck Ruble.
Betty attended Belpre High School in OH. She married Edward F. Wettengel, Sr. on February 29, 1952 and chose to be a homemaker. Betty enjoyed painting acrylics and spending time in her flower garden. In her hometown of Belpre, OH, she was recognized for having the nicest yard and flower garden.
Betty loved God and considered attending church a privilege. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. Betty also liked to travel and appreciated the opportunity to visit and see many states in America.

The two experienced a special bond as sisters, so it seemed timely and appropriate they would continue that bond into eternity.
